A tapered fit with a longer rise, roomy thighs, and tapered legs. The MIYABI (雅) fabric clocks in at 18.7oz and packs quite a few features. We used unbleached organic Peruvian cotton for the weft which has a great feel. The cotton is then treated in an environmentally friendly way to pronounce the natural beige of the yarn. Combining that with a warp consists of Texas and Californian cotton gives us a texture that is stiff and crips, almost like paper, has a lot of fuzziness. There is a lot of slub happening here which allows for some of the beige weft to peak through the surface. If you look closer, you will see different variations of blue hues. For this fabric, we used a combination of natural and pure indigo which will result in some beautiful fades. We have worked on this fabric for over 3 years, this is why we call it Miyabi which stands for elegance, grace, but also refinement (also on a spiritual level).
